Today is a truly historic day for civil aviation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
After nearly 20 years, the Kyrgyz Republic has been officially removed from the European Union Air Safety List, commonly known as the “blacklist.”
There was a time when many believed this would be impossible. However, the Kyrgyz Republic proved otherwise.
Thanks to the political will of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Nurgojoevich Japarov, the support of the Cabinet of Ministers, and the tremendous efforts of our specialists, the country has undergone large-scale reforms and reached a new international level of aviation safety.
We have completely overhauled the aviation system, implemented the standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency, successfully passed the most complex international audits, and proven to the world that the Kyrgyz Republic is capable of meeting the highest global standards.
This is not merely an aviation decision.
It is a reflection of our country’s ability to achieve major goals, even when the path seems impossible.
I would like to express my special gratitude to the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Nurgojoevich Japarov, for his support of reforms and his political will in achieving such a significant goal.
I would also like to sincerely thank the staff of the State Civil Aviation Agency, the entire aviation industry of the country, and our international partners for their professionalism, dedication, and selfless work.
Today is a victory for the entire Kyrgyz Republic.
A victory for our specialists.
A victory for our country.
And I am confident that this is only the beginning of a great future for Kyrgyz aviation.
