Kyrgyz Aviation Specialists Enhanced Their Qualifications at the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Course in Almaty.

From May 18 to 22, 2026, the Instructor Training Course on the Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) system was held in Almaty, Kazakhstan, at the ICAO TRAINAIR PLUS Programme Training Center in cooperation with KazAeronavigatsia.

The course was aimed at developing the professional competencies of instructors and inspectors, improving training and assessment methodologies, and ensuring that personnel training processes comply with international standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The training was attended by representatives of the State Civil Aviation Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as aviation professionals from Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation.

During the course, participants studied modern approaches to training, competency assessment, curriculum development, and the delivery of effective training sessions. Particular attention was given to practical exercises and the application of international standards in the training of aviation personnel.

Upon successful completion of the course, all participants received internationally recognized certificates confirming their successful completion of the training and their ability to apply modern instructional methodologies in their professional activities.
